/Fall in Full Swing!
Fall is a special time for the studio as we gear up for Small Press Fair! SPF Fort Lauderdale is a day for local and regional artists, printers, booksellers, publishers, authors, poets, bookmakers, designers, zinesters and cultural workers to share ideas and showcase new work related to print making, book making and zine creation. After last year’s virtual live broadcast, we can not wait to gather with all our print folks in just a couple of short weeks for the 6th edition of the fair.
If you plan to exhibit at the fair, be sure to apply ASAP (details below) and keep your eyes peeled for upcoming SPF programming including workshops and visiting artists!

IS Projects Presents a Collaborative Show
with Impractical Labor in Service of the Speculative Arts (ILSSA)
Closing Reception I Sat, Oct 30th 6-10PM
MakerMatching is a collaborative project and exhibition organized by ILSSA and IS Projects all about matching makers—searching for potential connections within our communities and creating space for new conversations to begin. MakerMatching culminates in an exhibition at IS Projects highlighting the importance of connection and support within creative practice. Whether they're members of ILSSA or creatives from the IS Projects' community, makers of all disciplines were mailed a handset letterpress survey to be filled out and returned in order to match them with other makers. Gallery-goers are invited to harness their ‘inner matchmakers’ as they participate in connecting makers.
ABOUT OUR COLLABORATORS
