How does rental work?

We are a public-access studio which means that we don't want to just keep all of this equipment to ourselves, we want to share it with like minded local artists and printmakers. All you need to do is let us know what day you would like to come in about a week in advance and what you would like to come in and work on. All of our studio rental scheduling is based on availability in the shop so please have a couple of dates in mind.

Studio Rental Rates:

  • Assisted printing: $30 per hour this can range from needing an extra set of hands to learning a whole new technique (letterpress, screenprinting, bookbinding, linocuts etc) from one of our experienced staff members.
  • Solo Printing: $15 per hour this is when you come in with everything you need and know how everything works and can print without our assistance. If it is your first time working in our studio we recommend scheduling at least an hour of assisted time so that we can show you where everything is and the particularities of our machines and clean up methods.
